I was summarily chastised for posting my question in the wrong category. In the future I will consult my doctor. Thank you.

  1. Try asking in the drug forum, prescription drugs aren't part of Alternative Medicine.

Alternative medicine are treatments that are alternatives to drugs and surgery!

  2. I agree with BB. This isn't the right forum for your question. I'm tired of seeing Conventional Med. questions on this site. People want alternatives to western medicines because they're wise to the fact that they(Conv. Med.) never get to the underlying cause to the problem.

  3. I would call your local pharmacist to make sure there are no drug interactions...Aleve is an NSAID and Plavix for unclogging of the arteries...if you take them together...the dose of Aleve might be smaller than the package recommends...call your pharmacist just in case

  4. You can take them together.  They usually give aspirin along with plavix,  The only thing you should look out for is it can increase bleeding by thinning your blood even further (but so can the aspirin).  So if you cut yourself you may bleed longer than you would, may get more bruising... those types of things.
