I take a really high potency multivitamin everday,will i be in any danger if i accidently took 2 in one day??

While they are right about a few vitamins (specifically Vitamin C and the B Vitamins, which include the ones that turn your urine yellow)... but a Multivitamin/mineral complex also has fat-soluble vitamins and the minerals that can build up in your system.

If you take 2 in one day just one time, it shouldn't cause much of a problem because the excess of those fat-soluble vitamins and minerals will be stored in your tissues, then used later when you are short.

However, if you do that on a regular basis, they could build up to toxic levels... you don't want to do that normally, but if you accidentally did it once, it shouldn't hurt you.

When I feel like I'm coming down with a cold or flu, I often take double of my multi's twice a day to kick it in the butt. I do this with vita C, B-complex, and several others as well so no, I don't think it will do you any harm.

no. your body will excrete most excess vitamins.

Listen to the nurse, NO, your body only absorbs the nutrients it needs and expells the rest.  You will probably notice darker colored urine, this is the excess being taken out of your system.

It depends on your vitamin.  If you are taking a tablet or capsule, you don't need to worry.  You are only absorbing at the most, 20% of it.  

Most vitamins are not in the right form for the body to use, so you may not even get that much.

If it is a bad form of the vitamin, it could cause toxicity problems.  That is when you run into problems.  But, it probably wont cause much of a problem with just taking 2.

I would look into taking a liquid vitamin and mineral supplement.
