  1. No, that's not too much at all. Yes, Flax and Fish Oils both have Omega-3 fatty acids... but they are different Essential Fatty Acids. Fish Oil has EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) while Flax Oil has ALA (Alpha-Linolenic Acid).

You can take Fish and Flax together for the same reason you can take Vitamins A and E together, even though those are both fat-soluble vitamins... even though they are in the same class and are similar nutrients, they're still different nutrients.

Go ahead and take both together... we've got hundreds of customers that do that and are very happy with it ;-)

Also, FWIW, the DHA is the EFA that helps brain health the most... ALA and EPA don't help with brain health as directly.

  2. Fish oil supplements contain Omega 3 fatty acids...It is the Omega 3  that is supposed to be good for memory but Flax seed has both Omega 3&6 and it's recently been discovered that the benefits of using Flaxseed oil is much more than using Fish oil........so you're good.....
