I taught 15 years ago for 2 years and then left. I want to get back into it. Has anyone done the same? advice?

I was a teacher right out of college for 2 years then left and worked in sales for the last 15 years. I am very interested in getting back into teaching. Does anyone have any advice?

I let my certification drop for a few years and when I wanted to get back into the game I had to take additional college classes to be recertified in my state.  

My advice would be to get in touch with the state agency that handles teacher certification in your state (probably the department of education) and ask them what you need to do.  In 15 years, their requirements may have changed a lot and there could be additional testing you need to do.
