  1. Try a tool box or craft store for various cases.


  2. Are you talking about pictures stored on your computer?  Or printed pictures?

    Digitized pictures stored on the computer can be sorted by subject (or any other criteria that works).  Just create folders for each category.

    If the pictures are hardcopies, use files folders, again sorted by subject, etc.

  3. Special education students particularly benefit from visual aids so good organization skills are vital. You could arrange them alphabetically by subject matter.   Also, make sure you keep all of your visuals in one place.  That will keep you from having to check 26 different places to find the pictures that you need.  Good luck and my hat is off to you for your compassion in teaching our special needs children.

  4. If you are talking about icon pictures like pecs my kids' teachers have them velcroed to a poster board. Each child also has an individual flip folder with the ones the child uses for the day (like drink, potty, etc...)

    If they are photo pictures the teachers have them in small photo albums and have the albums on book shelves.
