That line is a scam, it is not in any way affiliated with any railway company. Call 08457 484950 for the official information line.

National Rail Enquiries phone number is 08457 48 49 50. I think the number you've got is an old one.

That number is (was) the National Travel Hotline at £1 per minute. Use National Rail Enquiries instead which is far cheaper, or, if you get reduced rate geographical number charges, use 020 72785240 (this is the "real" number for 08457 48 49 50).

0121 6342040 is another option.

01709 768621 is yet another option.

All will be cheaper than the 09xx and 08xx numbers.
