  1. when you breathe in make sure your stomach gets big and then gets smaller as you exhale

this is because not only does it allow you to get in more air but also uses your diaphragm to push the air out while you sing instead of your throat

this means less strain on your vocal chords and a better voice

  2. Make sure you are taking the right sized breath for the phrase you are about to sing and know when you are going to take your next breath. Also listen to what these people are saying about using your diaphragm.

  3. sneak a breath

  4. You gotta be in better shape.  Running helps a lot.  Also, trying signing while running or working out. Helps to build stamina

  5. hey!

make sure you're breathing with you diapragm.  your stomach should go out when you breathe in, filling up with air, and then get smaller as you sing a phrase.  watch yourself in a mirror- if your  shoulders are going up when you breathe in, youre breathing the wrong way.

try lying down and breathing, that is the correct way to breathe when singing, and you can train yourself by lying down to practice.  also try sucking in air with your mouth in an "o" shape and filing yur belly, then let it out either singing a note or in a hiss.  those should get you learning to breathe correctly.

    hope this helps! good luck!

  6. you need to make sure that when you breathe, your chest stays stagnant while your stomach should be getting fuller and deflating- this means you are breathing "from the diaphragm", and will be able to hold more air. being in shape really doesnt matter, but your lungs are like your muscles; they need to be exercised. some people can hold a lot of air in their lungs, and are able to slowly release the breath so that their singing is smooth and fluid. however, many people dont have that natural ability. i found myself taking constant breaths when i started singing, and i took even more when i was auditioning (probably due to nerves). i began doing breathing exercises and was able to take breaths when i  was supposed to, according to the piece instead of every other word. there are a ton of books out there that detail breathing exercises that will help to improve your singing through breath control. you can find many used on amazon for next to nothing. check it out- they really helped me

  7. Breathe

  8. sing while running on a treadmill.

sounds crazy but it works lol
