I thing that there is something wrong with my tv.?

I bought a HD tv a couple of weeks ago, it was fine until like 3 days ago. When im waching it sometimes the volume goes uo by its self for a couple of seconds then goes back down, the volume meter is at the same level when it happens. Is there sometig wrong with my tv, if so how can i fix it?

It is a plasma hd tv and 42 inches if that matters.

Do you have more than one source hooked to it (Cable, dvd, game console, etc)?

Does it do it with all sources, or just one?  If its just one source, I'd question the source.  Especially if its a cable box.  It could even just be a couple bad channels on the cable system.  I know where I'm at there are about 3 channels that do that really bad, the rest are OK.

Some commercials are louder than others.  If it does this during a show, there may be a problem.
