  2. If you can't get to a general practitioner or emergency department while you are feeling like this - get hold of a close friend or family member NOW!!!. TALK! OPEN UP! BE HONEST!

You need to talk about why you are feeling like this with someone and you need to sort out what is making you feel like this and get that sorted too. NOW.

Suicide is very selfish, you're problems are solved for you because you are not here to face them - but think of the problems left behind for everyone that you love and that loves you.

  4. I really think that you should get some help. Your not the only one in the world that has thoughts like this!! It's not normal, but your not alone. There may be some issues that you need to deal with in your life. I would suggest keeping a journal and writing about the things that you feel. But the best thing to do is to get some medical help.

  5. Suicidal ideations (thoughts of suicide) are very common amongst people with clinical depression. Clinical depression can be defined as feeling low for at least 2 weeks consecutively.

Feeling suicidal does not make you crazy. I have thought about suicide before and I know that millions of others have too.

Suicide may seem like the easy way out but it really is not. Think about the pain your family and friends would feel if you took such a step. Please don't do this!

When you feel this way you should confide in someone you trust. Better yet talk to a counselor. It sounds like you may benefit from an anti-depressant. Millions of people have taken anti-depressants with good results. Ask your doctor if meds would be right for you. Good luck to you. Remember life is too short anyway without hastening your own death. I hope you will feel better soon.

  6. dude, at least you arent having thoughts about killing someone else

  7. Do you know the number for 911?

  8. I used to be like you. Just hated life or wondered what it would be like not to be here. I even held my breath to see how it could possibly feel to drown. You not crazy, and seeing a shrink doesn't make you crazy either. Alot of unbalances can be wrong with you. First seek help, like everyone say to do, go with a family memeber or a frined you can trust and help you feel comfortable. After seeking help for myself, I found out that I am severly depressed and bipolar. Nothing is wrong with me and my medications help me get through the day and night. Don't ignore your thoughts or feelings get some help.

  9. Iv been in the same situation.

through out my life iv been through loads and therefor i felt withdrawn from my friends family i felt suicidal and wanted to die i thought about ways to do it and what not. but then it though enough is enough i spoke to my mum bout how i was feeling and she rung the doctors and they referred me i am now on the waiting list to see a psychologist, sharing my problems with somebody else really helped and i dnt feel alone

i suggest that you tell somebody and get help, when your mind is messed up and your thinking of suicide thats when you no you depressed and need help

    PLEASE get help

and no your not going crazy your just suffering depression, you need to talk about whats making you feel this way.

    good luck

  11. this happens to people who dont like whats going on around them or r obsessed about someone or something. just dont compare ur life n urself with something good than u. compare ur life with someone who is not better than u. it will help u feel good. i.e dont compare urself n ur life with celebrities. compare urself with people who have nothing. hope this helped.

You need to start opening up tell someone how u feel, in the short term the  Samaritians are always there, You need to talk out your feelings, vent them.

Sadly you are not alone ,

  14. Go get professional help.

  15. hey there,

i know everyone is stressing "go the the Dr." "Get help" which are indeed critical. However, I certainly understand that it's not an easy thing to do; maybe your nervous? ashamed? scared of what he/she will do? facing your problems? I myself am in my final semester of a theropist degree, and  am going to be completely honest. Healthcare professionals have a legal responsibility to break that confidential rule/relationship if an individual expresses suicide, homoside, or child abuse. I, however, am not lisenced yet, so, while I think it's best to report such an issue, I would love to help you in private (im not required to follow this rule legally yet. it doesn't sound like your ready yet for the big step. If it would help to have an objective and anonomous person to talk to, I'm more than willing. Feel free iether to reply to this  response (if my email address doesn't show up with this) Or if the email address shows up here, then you can email me at any time! I promise to keep everything you say strictly confidential...I don't know you anyway. If you think this might help you, pleas pleas contact me; I'd love to talk. If your not interested, I understand that too, but I'm concerned. Remember (1) things can get better, and (2) your family and friends would suffer teribley. These two things helped me to get through my period of suicidal idiations. One more suggestion is calling the suicide hotline anonomously if you're worried  about confidentiality or ppl showing up at your door. You're far from crazy, you took the first step already showing your intelligants, and hopefully continue on this  possitive road. Stay strong, and I hope to hear from you.

  16. Dont listen to the doctors.

  17. Seriously, I strongly recommend that you change your occupation, neighbourhood and living patterns. DO a job you like, live somewhere else you feel comfortable, choose a good community and adopt a healthier way of life (jogging every morning, eat more fruit and vegetables, go to bed earlier) etc. It's time to make some major changes in your life.

If that still doesn't work, I suggest you join the army and go to the battlefield. As soon as you get there, and witness people killing or being killed, see those bloody scenes every day, your view of life will have radical changes. You'll cherish your life from your heart. The reason why you are SUICIDAL is that you're too far away from danger. When you are surrounded by danger, you'll find the value of life.

  18. Call 1-800-SUICIDE and follow up with a doctor or go to the nearest emergency room

  19. I think about it. But havn't got the guts.

Just  go about life not thinking about it and listen to happy music which cheers you up. =D

  20. No you'll be ok. Just go see the doctor.

  21. Go see a doctor.  Thats what we did for my brother and they put him on some meds. Anti-depressents I think but not quit sure.

  22. I think you need professional help.  Good luck.

  23. see a doctor.

  24. Try and Get a Therapist or Psychiatric Help!

Nobody will want to see you Go :(

  25. go to a councilor

  26. you seriously need to get some help

  27. Please see a professional. There's loads of help out there for you...you don't have to feel this way.

  28. HI Ellie,

Firstly, I can both sympathise and empthaise with you. I have suffered with depression for 2 years now, and previous to this i was having suicidal thoughts which were caused by the depression due to a number of incidents which have occured in my life. However I went to see my doctor and told him about my thoughts and my general health, and because i suffered with epilepsy he was unable to prescribe me with anti-depressents straight away, so he was able to reffer me to a Psychiatrist, this is a common misconception that people who see psychiatrists are crazy, as i'm not crazy i just needed the help of a specialist which dealt with the mind. I was prescribed anti-depressants and i was sent for Counselling, which has helped me alot, my life was falling apart before my eyes and there was nothing i could do, until i asked for help. and you have made the first step. you've asked people for help and that's what counts.

What you must remember is that, nothing no matter how bad something appears to be, is worth taking the gift which is life. I thought to myself again and again if i committed suicide that everything would be solved and i wouldn't feel the pain anymore. but It wouldn't solve anything the only thing it would do, is cause pain and suffering to those who were left behind, my friends and family.

I would tell someone you trust, maybe your parents or a close friend, just so you have someone to talk to. If this is not possible or you don't think you can then i would confide in a doctor as they are bound to keep things confidential when asked to.

But I would go and see your doctor, and talk about the feeling you are experiencing, and he would be more than happy to help you, people forget that Psychiatric medicine is a real thing, it is not made up or just for crazy people, it could be something as simple as a chemical imbalance in the brain which causes the feelings you're having.

PLEASE go and see your doctor, or contact samaritans if you are in urgent need of someone to talk to on 08457 90 90 90 in the UK and Northern Ireland.

Please don't do anything to yourself, as it's not worth it. From my own experience i have felt suicidal and thought about ending it, but please don't because with the help of my doctor and talking to a counsellor i have overcome the suicidal thoughts and am combatting the depression and i couldn't be happier today, things are looking up and i am thankful for it. And this will be you to, you will experience no suicidal feeling you just need to get some proffessional help form a doctor and talk to someone.

I Hope you find this helpful, and please if you do need someone to talk email me through yahoo.

    Take Care.

    XxxxxX
