I think I've found a brain in my fast food, how would I identify if it to make sure?

I am almost certain it is but I don't want to put effort into a lawyer if it isn't. It fell out of a piece of chicken at a crevasse where perhaps a bone or spine once was. Also it is about the size of the tip of my thumb and has lines like a brain. On the underside they all come together at one point.

By my guess, you got your fast food "to go" and left the premises with it to eat it later. In this case, you would have far less of a legal argument as you could have well tampered with the food in question.

Its possible because chickens have brains and it could have gotten mixed up in the saved pieces instead of the throw away pieces. It is safe to eat if cooked well.
