I think I broke a part of my trucks, Can someone tell me if its bad ?

Okay, I dont know what the parts called but I will try to explain it. Im looking stright down at the skateboard and its upside down. Theres the bolt a little metal spacer it looks like then this rubbery hardish piece that appears to be split a little bit, Does this mean I need new ones. My skateboards a week old, Brand new. Reynolds Gold And White Trucks. HELP PLEASE.

  1. those hardish rubbery things are bushings,theres 2 on each truck ,if there cracked then it could affect how your trucks ride and you need to mgo to your local skateshop and buy a pack of bushings(there like $2 va pack) and have them put em on for you


  2. You blew the bushings.  You just need to go and get a new set. They're about $5.00. New bushings need to be broken in before you tighten them up, especially Indys.  Ride them with the kingpin nut flush with the end of the kingpin for a few sessions.  The bushings will harden up over this time.  Then you can tighten them up to your liking.

  3. I believe you need a new piece between their, that's all.

    Unfortunately, it'll cost you somewhat.

  4. its the bushings u can buy new ones for 3$ doh doh or bones are good brands, there very easy to switch out so not a big deal
