I think I have COPD. But my doctor says I have asthma.?

She literally said hope it's just asthma knock woood. Sometimes like now my lungs just feel sore like when I used to smoke too much. I haven't smoked in 20+ years. I have 2 types of inhailers. Does anyone have experience with these diseases?
