I think I have a bone condition...?

I'm not sure. I don't want to rush to the doctor's office quite yet without logical theories.

So every so often, it can happen a couple times a month or a couple times a year, and its been happening ever since I was little. Some nights, no matter how cold or hot the day, I get this feeling starting from my knees, down my shins, and to my ankles. It feels like the bone itself is frozen or very very cold and slightly tingling. I can walk around, but its VERY uncomfortable and I don't know what to make of it. Sometimes electric blankets or hot-tubs help, but that's only sometimes. I can't seem to find anything on the internet and I was wondering if there are some doctors out there or someone else thats willing to help me try to find out if its normal or something I really need to have checked.

Thanks!

  1. (I am not a doctor and nor is this meant, to treat, cure, or diagnosis any disease).  Okay, now that is out of the way, here is what im thinking.  Although you did not list many symptoms, the few that you provided seem to indicate a circulation problem.  Here is why I believe this is the case.  The cold/frozen feeling may occur from many things; amongst these things is a improper blood distribution.  The electrical blanket or hot tub seem to help; when you sit in a hot tub or apply heat you are in essense loosening your muscles, by doing so you reduce the ammount of resistance that the blood encounters on it's course.  If you would like to learn more on this subject in specific, research systemic circulation.  Hope this helps, good luck.
