  1. You should call to see if you can get a sooner appointment, perhaps an emergency appointment.

It could be a bad cavity.

Take tylenol or motrin for pain.

  2. Go to the dentist asap. It can get really worse if you leave the problem there.

  3. You can either have sensitive teeth, or yeah, it might be a cavity. I'm not sure if the frequent headaches and nausea are related to your tooth problem. Is the tooth all the way in the back? If it is a wisdom tooth, it could be erupting (breaking through the gum-line). Since these are essentially 'new' teeth and they can be sensitive. If it doesn't hurt other than when you drink cold things, just don't drink cold things until your appointment. If it starts to hurt continually, try and get your appointment sooner.

My dentist said that Aleve Liquid Gel caps are good for tooth aches. You can also try Orajel, which is a topical anesthetic (you rub it on/around the tooth that hurts) and it will numb it.

Tooth pain is horrible. I hope you feel better soon!
