I'm 20 weeks preggo and I've been prone to ear/sinus problems since I was a child. Here I am now with a killer ear ache and sinus pressure and since I'm pregnant I reallly don't want to resort to antibiotics. I want to try and tough is out.... Are there any at home remedies I can try to help ease the discomfort?

  1. To relieve sinus pressure you can go in the bathroom with the door shut and turn the shower on with super hot water.  As the room fills with the vapors from the hot water your nose will begin to drip therefore releasing your sinus pressure. They recommend this for babies!  Good luck and sorry to hear you're not feeling well.

  2. google "nettie pot"

    it works!

  3. Ugh, I know how you feel. I have had at least 4 ear infections a year since I was born and being pregnant is no different! Try laying you head down(the side with the infection) on a warm, moist washcloth for about an hour. It seems to alleviate SOME pain.

EDIT: The first answer is GENIUS! I forgot about that! It works wonders!!!
