  1. yep, hold the money up to a light or window. Anything from a 5 dollar bill and up has a gold strip in it that runs the width of the bill. This is a gold inlay "worth" the value of that particular federal note. What you are holding for greenback isn't money anyway, it's just a "note." The real money looks a lot different. Like silver and gold notes, that are 3 times as large that the government took from us back during the civil war and was "force traded" for this modern JUNK.


  2. look at the green numbers; they should change to black or copper when rotating the bill

    best also to compare it to another bill

  3. Bring it to the FBI and ask them.

  4. Ask a store clerk to check it with that counterfeit bill marker.
