When I Wikied it, it said they are favorites of chefs, especially French cuisine. How do I find out who may want them? They're yellowish in color and they look like honeycombs. A local mushroom club (yeah, they do exist). If they're so prized, as its suggesting, then I don't want to throw them away if they can be used. Besides, looking at them gives me the willies!! Thanks for the help. Hit me up via my e-mail if anyone wants them. Happy eating!!

  1. If you really don't know, get someone to take a look at them

  2. You shouldn't have trouble getting rid of morels.  If I were you I would pick them, slice them, and saute them in butter.  But if you can't get past the appearance then someone local will certainly take them off your hands.  Maybe a neighbor.  They don't grow where I live now but I grew up loving this time year because of the fresh mushrooms.  They sell for roughly $20/lb. in my current city.  They are delicious but they do dry up and spoil pretty quickly so act fast.

  3. well if youre really not sure of it do not eat em.. take em to the mushrooms club and let them identify them.. there are a few look alikes.. but if you really wanna eat them boil them first and then fry them or make a sauce.. boiling takes some poisons out... and try to stay away from red wine...check out my site and see if they look like these
