Alright, so I can't open wordpad at all. When I click it, it doesn't do anything. It's like this with a few other programs too. I downloaded a software for my phone, and it would not open. None of my virus protector programs will open either. When I turn on my computer, the taskbar at the bottom doesn't show up, so I have to go to task manager and start a new process, "explorer.exe" for it to show up.. Any help is appreciated.

  1. dont listen to the people that say use AVG and norton and c**p like that.

If you want the antivirus that the computer programmers use its called MalwareBytes Anti-malware. It removed a horrible virus off my computer.

download it and run a full scan then it will delete the virus' for you.

  2. go to housecall.antivirus.com and scan your computer

  3. Ahh, looks like a classic registry problem. Try to scan your registry for errors and invalid entries.

  4. the best way to get rid of the virus is to reinstall your windows

and when you start again the best will be to partition your hard disk

    and work from there

  5. If other anti-virus programs fail.

    Try avast.

It is a very effective and free anti-virus program.
