Question:

I think I just broke my pinky toe. Will I still be able to go running?

I haven't tested the foot or anything... but I'm a serious runner and I was wondering if I'd be able to run tomorrow? Or how many days will I have to take off? It's just a pinky toe.

  1. Well, it could hurt like H-E-double-hockey-stix!

    Use some tape and tape it to the toe next to it like a little splint, and yes, I think it would be wise if you switched to a different form of non weight-bearing exercise for a few weeks - like weight lifting and swimming.

  2. Well my friend broke her pinky toe and couldn't dance on it for a couple months, I don't know, running might be different, but you should definetly get it checked out by a doctor before you run again, so that you don't make it worse.
