Question:

I think I might be an Automatic Writer?

I put my pen down to a paper and it does it on it's own. I don't even have to concentrate on it. Also I want to know who's the spirit with me but I can't understand with all the lines and the circles? What's going on? Am I really one or am I making this all up in my head?

  1. Can you automatic write while watching TV?  How about while reading out loud?  While performing tasks that require conscious effort?

I'm not saying you're consciously producing this effect, but it's possible you're unconsciously doing so.  Also, if the automatic writing produces nothing legible, then how is it any different from random scribbling?

  2. That happens to me too.its really scary at times. The spirits who is doing this is trying to tell me furture events.I do not want to know furture events.

  3. lucky you, i wish i have that gift. i know what i would ask to draw me...

  4. Apparently some spiritual entity wants to communicate but not by words but by using lines and circles, it could be helping you to draw something he wants you to understand.

  5. I say it's all in your head. What's more,I think deep down you know it.

  6. An entity can only use you if you allow it. Before taking up the pen direct a question to the entity even if you don't know who they are. (People don't always get an answer to that one.) Keep your mind empty and allow the words to flow freely without judgement. Then you will be an automatic writer.

  7. Automatic writing is demonic. This is because the person is allowing an evil spirit to direct the words they right. Stay away from it. Demons are very dangerous creatures.

  8. In April's addition of Fate Magazine I have an article on Automatic writing that you may find helpful. Doodles are common as a spirit guide and you get to know how it works. They are learning as well. It's important to always work with your guides, nobody else.

  9. It may not mean anything at all.

It could be due to something called the ideomotor effect, which is the unconscious movements made by your body.

    Nothing paranormal about it.

  10. I haven't done any automatic writing, but I've found that I am an Automatic Reader. If I put a newspaper in front of me, I will tend to start reading it even if I don't concentrate on it. It just kind of happens.  But that's not all, I've also become an Automatic Watcher. If I sit in front of the TV, I'll just start watching it, right out of the blue, and I'm not even trying. It's spooky.

  11. The nature of writing you are doing is called ideogram. It is a personal writing known only to you. Sometimes ideograms define gestalts.

That is all you get for now, have fun!

  12. I'm an automatic writer too.

While at work and taking notes, I doodle.

Then I look down and see "This job blows" printed all over the paper.

  13. thats kinda creepy

    cool

    but creepy

but dont worry. i've never heard of auto-writing getting really harmful or dangerous.

    good luck : ]

  15. Automatic writing, like others have responded, is a response of the brain via ideomotor effect and also likely to be partly due to subconscious brain activity. There is no reason to think that any spirits or anything paranormal is behind it.

  16. I did this too..journals of it. The words were connected together. One time they drew a picture of a bird. One time they made a joke...which surprised me. For sure..I didn't know what they were going to say. I think they did some circles too. I wasn't scared at the time. It was exciting and fascinating. But, I didn't know how much trouble it would cause me...when I told other people. Don't tell others. Even though I wasn't scared then..it scares me NOW. ..that there were really spirits/ghosts or whoever it was there for real. I won't let it happen anymore.
