I think I saw a ghost. And I know that I am not crazy and I am not on drugs?

what do i do now? I never believed in ghost until now. It was a lady wearing a jogging outfit and she was standing in my kitchen when i went to get a snack. She knew my name and her image was kind of semi transparent and it flickered on and off like a lightbulb that is not screwed in all the way. Is it going to hurt me? what does it want? It almost made me pee my pants and it made my cats tail all puffy and it was hissing.

Yeah that sounds like a ghost to me,  wow knows your name too.  She won't hurt you that's  Hollywood B. S. made up to scare people.  Just treat her like a friend and she will watch out for you.  Ask her it she wants you to contact anyone for her.  Ghosts respond well to being  treated like a person. She may have lived there before you, ask around and see if anyone knows who she is.

you need to help her. she doesn't know she's dead. pray to god and ask him to open the way for his child currently stuck here. Or if you see her again, try and get some info from her...her name would help, then do some research...that will also help you, to help her. BTW, dont be scared she wont hurt you.

Wow thats amazing. Good luck. What kind of vib did you feel from her. Aside form the fear you felt at the time, did she seem malicious, or just trying to get your attention. If she was just trying to get your attention then dont worry about much. She might continue to do things to get your attention so just be prepared. It doenst seem like you saw a demonic being, so be lucky it was just probably a soul who has lost her way. If I were you I would try to help her if she continues to bother you. I thinks its rather sweet that she choose you to communicate to. In many ways you were her chosen one that she feels she can trust. Do not feel fear(i know its easier said than done), they are just people and most of the time they want help.

From what I gather, ghosts don't actually realize they're dead.  She was probably just going about her business like she would have been when living.  Perhaps she was preparing to go out jogging?

At any rate, if it really bothered you, maybe you could talk to her.  Just tell her that she startled you and whatnot.  If nothing else, talking it out might calm your nerves.

I personally don't believe in ghost. I believe it's an evil spirit pretending to be a ghost.

I suggest that you should not be moved by this, because the only weapon evil spirits have against you is fear. You should not succumb to its deception. Fight it! And if you believe in God Most High pray to Him and read the Scriptures to strengthen your body, soul and spirit.

well, assuming you were not on drugs, are mentally stable, and were not sleep walking, then it sounds like you saw a ghost.  I am a skeptic too, but the fact that your cat reacted what way suggests that  what you saw was not an illusion.  Like the others have said,  she may be a previous resident of your home who died, a messenger sent to tell you about something or protect you, or maybe someone who does not know they are dead.  I would try to talk to her if you see her again, she does not seem threatening so assume that she is a nice ghost but definately be carefull, aparently demons can disguise themselvs, if all that stuff is reallly true.:)

It doesn't sound like it is there to hurt you. If it was going to, it would have done it by now. You don't know what it wants until you ask it. Try grabbing a voice recorder and asking it questions. Sometimes you can't hear anything but the recorder will pick up stuff. It is called evp or electronic voice phenomenon. I suggest you invite a good friend over when you do this so you don't get too freaked out and you are not alone. Sometimes they are just there to say hi or to check up on you. If it knows your name then it might be a relative that has passed on and it just wants to make sure you are ok. If you are too uncomfortable with any of this stuff, just talk to a priest and ask him to come bless your house. Generally it will make the spirit go away.

I would always ask a ghost or spirit its name. Ask why he/she is here? This woman came to you for a reason, it seems. Since she was in a jogging suit, it is pretty safe to assume she is modern. This could be your spirit guide, it could be someone that passed that used to live in your house and knows your name as she is still living in your house, can even be someone that is living. You won't know unless you ask.She obviously is up to communicating with you... so why not do just that? Also, I would ask around your family, if she  fits the description of a  relative that maybe you have not had contact with, but might have been close to another family member. I would wait and see if she reappears again ,  and don't be afraid to talk to her. I am not a big believer in evil entities.  She may be there to help you. The cats feel the energy shift and react to it. Don't take the lead from those fraidy cats. lol

It might be someone astral traveling. I've heard that you can see them sometimes. If that's who she is..it's not as scary. Tell her that she's invading your privacy and to go back into her body.

If it's someone who has died..try to find out who has died lately or who has some connection to your house. That's all I can think of...other than what others have already said.
