THE CARD THAT IS PUT IN THE LITTLE CRIBS AT HOSPITAL WAS WERE THE NAME WAS WRONG. IT WAS MY MOTHERS MAIDEN NAME, MY PARENTS HAD BEEN MARRIED FOR 7 YEARS. ALSO ON THE BIRTH CERTIFIC FROM HOSPILTAL HAD MY INFOMATION ALL CORRECT EXPET MY WERE MY MOTHERS INFOMATION WAS IT WAS BLACKED OUT AND THEN ABOVE IN DIFFERNT WRITTING MY MOMS NAME WAS WRITTEN IN.

Ask them if you were. If they deny it, do a little more research and if you find out you were, get as much info from them about your mother and then never speak to your a-parents again. Don't  bother asking why they didn't tell you because there is no excuse.   On the other hand it could have been a typo.

Different 'writing'?  Aren't most birth certificates typed in?

If you are saying it was handwritten (especially crossed off), I would be questioning something too.
