Question:

I think I was raped?

I've been seeing this girl for a few weeks now. I'm 19 and she's a couple of years older than me. I've never been in a relationship before, and things went a lot faster than I wanted. At first I was overwhelmed at how well I was getting on with her. I'd never clicked in that way with a girl and she made me feel like I was worth something. After about 2 months of friendship she finally asked me out on a date. I was really excited, so I agreed. She told me I was unlike anyone she'd ever met before and she thought we were soul-mates. Then after the date she said she wanted to come back to mine. I said I wanted to take things slower and develop a relationship first, but she insisted on going back to my place, threatening to create a scene and spread lies about me to my friends if I wouldn't let her. So I said ok. When we got back to mine she said she wanted s*x, and I said I didn't really want on the first date. She said I was so special to her she couldn't bear not to connect with me physically. She also said if I didn't have s*x with her she'd consider that to be a form of rape -- spiritual rape she called it -- and said that rape was a crime. So I had s*x with her. Afterwards she dumped me and started dating someone else, and has spread rumors about me being g*y. I feel I was tricked into losing my virginity, and I feel that she raped me.

  1. that girl sounds like a s**t..

I wouldn't technically call it rape but she did trick you into it.. But yet again I might be wrong.. Soz this isn't much of an answer but I dnt really know what 2 say..

Hope everything works out and that little dog gets whats coming 2 her =]

  2. OMG! She did rape you! How horrid. Tell someone.

  3. You were not raped, but you were tricked. Don't believe everything people tell you! Stand up for yourself when you have to and learn to spot BS.

  4. Nah. I don't think you were raped. I think you were used.

You didn't have to have s*x with her. She would have never been able to prove you "spiritually" raped her anyway.

  5. You certainly had a bad experience that you didn't deserve to have.

And elements of rape are there in terms of coercion. She basically threatened to accuse you of rape if you didn't have s*x with her. Rape is not always violent. Other forms of forcing someone to do what they don't want exist.

The only kind thing she did was to dump you, as much as it hurt. That would have been an ugly ugly "relationship."

I think you should get some help for yourself. Talk to a counselor.

  6. Sorry, no, it sucks but it isn't rape. Same if it was a girl.

  7. Dude you were raped! Report that monster!

  8. You were not raped. You made the choice to have s*x. Just because you regret it later doesn't change that you consented in that moment.

No force was used against you. You can't call peer pressure rape or force.

  9. although what she did was weird and awful, its not rape. because even though you didnt want to do it with her you still ultimately agreed. she may have persuaded you by threatening to spread rumours but she didnt put her own p***s inside her. yeah what she did was wrong, but it wasnt rape. which is a good thing!

put this down to experience, dont go for a girl thats like that again. dont be convinced and blackmailed into s*x. its just a threat and theres no such thing as spiritual rape.

ignore her and understand that she might be spreading rumours and used you for s*x BUT she is the one going to end up alone. the odds are other boys and girls know what shes like and dont believe her lies anyway.

chin up, fella. shes not worth a moment in ur thoughts

    =]

i hope it works out for u

    xx

  10. She was 19 your a few years younger...where are your parents?

No it's not rape, she wronged you and tricked you but not rape.

  11. Rape is a serious matter and you should not have to deal with your feelings on your own.

Contact a rape counselling service (links below), which can provide practical advice and someone to talk to who will really understand your situation.

Unfortunately, it seems some time has passed since this occurred, which means police involvement could be complicated, but you can still proceed in that direction with support.

Do not continue to deal with this alone, please contact someone today!

These services are free and you can remain anonymous if you choose. Your confidentiality will be respected.

    Best wishes :-)

  12. Nope, you were just coerced, its not the same thing.

Now, if  you are sleepy, crash in a buddy's room, then a drunk girl walks in and mounts you and begins riding you, you feel like c**p because of it, and then you tell her to get the h**l of you and she doesn't, that would classify as "rape."

  13. You weren't technically "raped". men can't be raped, only sexually assaulted. I really don't know if this would qualify as assault, but it's up to you on how far you want to take it. She's a total s***k. If I were you I'd get tested for STD's. You're not the first or last person she's going to trick into sleeping with her. I would just move on if I were you. Just think about it this way - how pathetic is she that she has to force people to sleep with her? What a loser! Don't let her think you're giving her a second thought, because you shouldn't. She's seriously trash. Do you give trash a second thought once you throw it away?

  14. You weren't raped, but that girl is still a b____.

  15. Wow...she threatened you so I guess it could be a form of s*x, but at the same time "spiritual rape?"  That is the dumbest s**+t i have ever heard of, but dealing with a loone like that, you might have done the right thing.  Its ok...relax.  Those folks that she is telling you are g*y, tell them that you can't be because you have had s*x with her and it sucked!

  16. Men are so silly.

Rape is a word defined by women - not men. You were duped by someone smarter.
