I think My bird is sick.. Maybe not.. Help??

Question

I have 6 birds and I've never taken any of them to a vet.. my mom doesn't want to go (im 13).. But one specific Bird, Spotty, Doesn't look very good. I've had her for about 4 years but when i got her she wasn't a baby so she's probably really old.. The bottom part of her stomach has been loosing feathers continualesly (spelling?), She's always shaking and her toes look drk purple at the ends and get lighter (im not sure if thats normal or not but i didnt notice that earlier) Does anyone have any help not envolving going to the vet? maybe some kind of food or medicine..? or maybe shes not sick?

go to a LOCAL PET STORE!!! tell the people that work there your problem and they should help you out trust me!! JUST GO ASAP and ask the people that work at the pet store!! if you can try taking your bird Spotty at the pet store too. then the people that work at the store can see whats wrong with your bird. and if you can't take Spotty to the pet store just go there YOURSELF AND ASK THEM!!

ok. Bird needs to go to vet. She could be egg bound which is not good. She could be calcium defeciant from laying so many eggs. These conditions are both serious. Keep her warm and I would seperate her from other birds for now. Please get her to vet dont let her suffer it sounds like she is. Good luck and thanks for caring. :)

She could be egg bound from the description of her condition this is serious, and your bird needs to go to the vet asap, this can kill her if not treated fast...put her on a warm moist towel keep it warm even if you have to sit there with a bucket of warm water and switch out warm cloths...if you have a spray bottle that is completely chemical free use mineral oil or vegetable oil and spray it gently up into her vent area(the opening where the egg will come out) Do this until you can get her to a vet...I hope your mom will change her mind as the sooner you go the better.
