We have had it for 5 years...

2 chairs one for my wife and I...one is next to the computer (Mac by the way) facing TV...the other parked under a light next to the book case...also facing TV.

The house my husband and I are currently buying has a " game room" . It was a must have for my dork of a husband. Although it's also going to be a bar as well.

Well, they have been popping up the past 5 years, if you mean media room as in home theater or a room for your xboxes and rock bands, yes, they are a definite trend in the more upscale houses!
