I think an American was laughing at me.. I'm being serious!!?

Serioulsy!! We went to the history museum in London for a school trip and theres a technology section of the museum, and anyway me and my friend were playing this game which involved having to remember lots of numbers. So i was repeating these numbers out loud and this american girl was staring at me and my friend and smiling and kind of laughing as i was saying these numbers!! What i want to know is.. what was she laughing about?

So...let me get this straight.

You were in a public place, just repeating random numbers out loud...and a child laughed at you....

I'm not sure I understand what her nationality has to do with it, but I'll just state a general rule of thumb:  If you don't want people laughing at you, don't babble to yourself in public.

on the other hand she might not have even laughed at you. she was probably laughing at something else. and how do u know she was american?

I'm sure it wasn't personal.  I wouldn't worry yourself about it.  Could it be that she was happy to see somebody so enthusiastic about the game?  Seems to me she was sharing in the fun of the game rather than making fun.  Would it have been better if she had been frowning and cursing?  And what difference does it make where she was from?
