Okay. So, a few months ago, in February or something, I was in Ballroom class and I couldn't find my left contact lens. I didn't even remember taking it out, rubbing it, or anything! it just disappeared. I looked everywhere and couldn't find it. Now, four months later, I went swimming for the first time in a year and after that, there was a strange feeling in the back f my eye. Like, there was something in it. And every time I blink, it hurts a little. I don't know what it is. Do you think the water from swimming with my eyes open pushed the contact from the inside of my eye to the front? Or what do you think it is? Anything that you can say to help, I'll appreciate it...I'm just really really scared!

  1. you need to see an eye doctor asap, contacts cannot get behind your eye due to the conjunctiva that goes from the front of your eye to your eyelids, there is no opening to the back. But you can get a contact lodged up high in your eye causing irritation when you blink, it's possible you had lost yours up there and the water shifted it. But this is something that really needs to be looked at as that can be damaging to the eye and eye lid.

  2. I'm pretty sure the first time it just fell out and the time in the water, something was just in your eye. lenses cant get stuck in the back of your eye i dont think. dont worry about it.

  3. hmmm well it might have just been the clorine but to make sure I would go to an eye doctor. Its a little odd however that ur just now feeling the contact from 3 months ago. So idt tht is the problem but just to be sure try seeing the eye doctor

  4. i'm not sure!

    go to an eye doctor!

  5. go to an eye doctor, ASAP!!!! They always say that it's impossible for a contact to get stuck in the back of your eye but, you honestly never know........

They can look at the back of your eye and tell you whats going on.
