I think he likes me....but, how to be sure?

Okay well, there is a guy who I have been crushing on for a long time. Last year, I pushed things too quickly and kind of messed things up. Over the summer we talked maybe twice.

Well, school is back and my interest has sparked for him again. It feels like its complete new beginning for us now. We sit right by each other in government and before this week it was a brief hello, good morning....

Its my county fair and its my first year showing chickens, and this past week he has really helped me out. Now he stops to talk to me, I catch him watching me sometimes and we have 2 hour conversations each night now, or around that. He tells me when he saw me and all that, just being really supportive. But then he isn't exactly all of the time acting sweet and stuff.

How can I be sure he likes me? Could it be he is just afraid?

it sounds like he really likes you.  "2 hour conversations"... that's not something a guy would do unless he really likes a girl.  i think you're expecting him to be all emotional and stuff like that, but guys don't react like that when they like a girl.  they usually do the opposite and try to seem more 'cool'.  

how can you be sure?... well, he's already helping you with your chickens.  come on.  if that doesn't tell you right there, then what else do you need??  :)

Maybe ask one of his friends you trust or get your friend to ask who he likes?

yes it could, just talk to him, or make a move to kiss him then after the kiss talk to him. I find it very s**y when a girl makes a move on me
