  1. Well **IF** it's poison oak, the answer is NO. It will spread.

I am well experienced with poison oak (Oregon) and I can tell you, the first sign is NOT blisters. It's a red rash, which itches. Bad.If it is on your fingers, it would have spread to other places by now - your face, your arms, anywhere you've touched. The blisters don't set in until a day or two later, when it's painfully obvious you're too late.

Technu is the stuff to use. P.O. is an oil and the cells have these "barbs" that hook into your skin. Technu is a special soap that releases it and keeps it from spreading, if you catch it early enough.

But I don't think that's what you have. Have you been around bleach, or bleach water? This or other caustic cleaners can cause blistering a day later.

Or are you playing too much guitar? :-) It's most likely not P.O.

  2. LEAVE THEM ALONE!

Popping them puts you at risk for infection and scarring.

Meanwhile, go to the pharmacy and see if you can get some cream, and/or contact your doctor.
