  1. Sounds like the beginning of a hamstring problem....as others have said, warm up with exercises, especially stretching ones before you start the run...and have a hot bath or shower afterwards and sort of knead the area with your fingers if you can reach.....or get someone else to do it....to loosen the muscles.

  2. Unlucky mate, happen to me once, but it will soon go away. Do not do any heavy training. But do not keep still, you want your muscels to keep moving.

  3. i always think that and good on yh for running your best till it hurts lol

nd cause i always think i broke sumthink i reasearch and it always says if its still hurting after 4 days its broke or sprained

  4. If you are unsure about whether you have a running injury, the best advice anyone can give is to have a few days rest from running. If it is a small injury (and most start out as small injuries - continued running makes them big injuries), then it has a chance of healing in the time. After a few days without running you can start again with cautios runs - try running only a short distance and see how it goes, next session try a bit longer and after a week or 2 weeks go back to running the distance you were running before. If you feel the pain come back then stop, rest and start again building the distances up.

Having said that, if you have only been running for 2 weeks you might have exercised a muscle you havent used for ages and its complaining, so it should be OK to try another easy run soon (after the pain has gone away), try that and if its painfull then try the rest and build distance thing.

  6. i had a pain in my back from my dog yanking me when out for a walk took months to heal whent to the docs about 5 times and had every anti-inflamatary going and still had pain, neurofen was the best in the end but i did not take it for too long as its not good for you but it took the pain away but it still took a long time to heal and even now if i lay in the bath a certain way then i get a twing of pain

  7. lol your butt is tightening up..

so keep running and you will get buns of steal!

  8. It's possible, have a break from running for a day or two.

Be sure to warm up and cool down well before and after running!

Maybe you could get someone to give it a massage to make it feel better ;)
