I think i am psychic.?

ok so i took this psychic test online at psychic.com,and i had to guess the shape in the box. I got 8/16. what do you guys think?

Try the same thing with coin tosses - you will find that even over time you will still have a 50% strike rate! Increadible huh!

Its probably just coincidence, If you take the test 3-5 consecutive times I bet you would get random results. Plus I think those things are out there to make you THINK you are psychic and they probably make a common shape appear more than normal so most people will guess that shape. Coincidence!

You provide no criteria for judging your 8/16 results.

True that is 50% but did you have 4 symbols to choose from (in which case you have a 25% chance of guessing correctly). Then your 50% would be amazing in parapsychology.

Did you have 2 symbols in which case you guessed right at chance?

Or were you given no shapes to choose from in which case statistical analysis is impossible and the test fails one of the most basic standards of science (the ability to measure results against chance).

Of course no single test/experiment in science is worth much in the way of evidence. However, if you can repeat significant results (like averaging even 30%, 50% would be extraordinary, when chance is 25%) over perhaps a 100 different times of taking the test you will have evidence of your psi abilities.

i really doubt that an online test will tell you whether you are psychic or not. what do you do/feel/see/hear that makes you think you might be psychic. most people have intuition that they dismiss and once it stops being a dismissed trait and a person pays attention to their intuition, they realize they are much more "psychic" than they once thought.

also, becoming aware and consciously being aware of your feelings and why you are having them can develop your abilities enough to make them much more noticeable.

everyone has the equipment required to have psychic abilities, its just a matter of finding your own personal way of developing and using them.

I'd keep working on your abilities, 8 out of 16 is like 50% or just plain chance. If you can get in the 75% range consistently, you might have something there.

How many shapes where there? I'm unfamiliar with a shape in a box test; but if it's similar to the card guessing test where you have 5 card possibilities that's pretty good! But if it's only 2 shapes then your data doesn't indicate any psychic powers.

every one who lives will be a psychic. in a way or other. only level differs and it also depends on the time and environment at which he takes the test.

Keep doing it.  Repeat, repeat, repeat.  You'll find the more data you have the more the apparent effect decreases.
