I think i got the blue screen of death?help!!!!!!!!!?

twice out of 3 days my pc had to shutdown to prevenet damage to my data with a blue screen? iv only ad vista prem for 8 months and i dont hardly go on any websites either,.. i really need help?

ok when the blue screen comes up make a note of the code that comes up then either google it or tell me it and i can look up the problem for you.

I also reccommend starting your computer in safe mode as if this stops the problem you know it is a software issue not a hardware issue and you can rollback your pc to a restore point.

Could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This  problem can be solved by uninstalling new softwares, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . From http://fixit.in/bluescreenofdeath.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info

what virus protect softwares do you have? any free ones? fake? do you download email attachments? it doesn't really matter if you don't go on websites that much you are still as vulnerable to viruses as the next guy depending on what you do.

There most be something wrong - you should investigate EVENT VIEWER for clues just press the windows key, type event viewer and hit enter

You can also use the (last known good configuration) by rebooting your computer and repeatedly pressing F8 before you see the windows logo
