I had my cartlidge pierced about 3-4 Months ago and I see a small scar (like a little bubble scar) on the top of my ear? Should I use vitamin E cream to help this can I still keep my jewelry in my ear? It is not infected. Will this ever go away?

  1. What you have is called hypertrophic scarring, it's very common. I've found the thing that works the fastest is chamomile tea soaks. Just seep the bag and then apply it to the piercing 10 min at a time, 2 times a day. It'll go away in a few weeks.

  2. I am prone to keloid scars and have a huge one on my arm from stitches.  My dermatologist gave me silicone injections to flatten it.  It will always be there unless I get some kind of plastic surgery which would probably result in another keloid scar.  Yours is probably really small and I have several of those and thankfully none from piercings and they have never gone away.

  3. Keloid Scar will never go away for sure.

I do have Keloid Skin and I terribly hate it.

Because the Scars will stay like forever.

    why dont you TRY ScarGuards.

The Derma told me the will kinda work.

    hope i helped.
