I think i have a bit of a problem?

okay so i'm going to be a freshman next week, but you see.. i went to this party tonight and i kinda started liking this kid who is going to be in 8th grade and i don't know what to do... because it would be weird because we are in two different schools and everyone would probably make fun of me. and i'm not sure if he even likes me back, but he was flirting with me and kissing me on the cheek.. and he texted me after for a while. i just don't know if i should still like him because he is younger? .. i'm 14 btw

Honestly when your a freshman in high school theyll make fun of you for breathing. Do what you want, ignore the people.

When you're a sophomore, youll probably understand what I mean. I'm a senior and last year I dated a freshman. it was bad. when you're in a higher grade it might matter. but as a freshman you really cant get any lower. no offense
