im 14 years old. and i dont know how to tell my mom.

don't hesitate to tell your mom. a bladder infection can be caused by many things. it is not an std. if left untreated it can cause other much worse problems. just tell your mom what you are experiencing and let her make an appointment with your doctor for a urine test. it is nothing to be scared of or ashamed of.

There's no shame in having a bladder infection. Tell her, "Mom, I think I might have a bladder infection" then tell her your symptoms.

They're not necessarily related to sexual activity of any kind. Infants can get them, and celibate people.

If you feel a burning sensation during urination ,and a pain in your down abdomen it is a urinary tract infection ,tell your mother about that ,you may need a urine test
