  1. Ampicillin treats a different kind of bacteria than infects your bladder, so it's not surprising that it's not doing anything for you!

I wouldn't wait, especially since you have a fever.  Any time you have a fever, it's a sure sign that you're heading into "serious infection" territory.  Find a way to go see a doctor.  Ask your step-mom if she can arrange for a trusted neighbor or friend to take you to a doctor.  Don't worry about school - this will only be a short appointment and your health is very important.

  2. A week is really to long to wait. If your urine is brown and cloudy and you have a fever there is a problem. Bladder infections can go to the kidneys and permanently damage them. I think the antibiotic you are taking is Amoxicillion and it does nothing for UTI's. You need some cipro. I know your parents have to work but your health needs to come first. By not taking you to the Dr you parents are guilty of neglect. Do they know you have a problem. If not tell them before you lose function in your kidneys from this. Also try a product called AZO it helps reduce the frequent urination you are having. Also always wipe from front to back. UTI are usually caused by bacteria from the a**s getting into the bladder. Wiping from front to back pushes the bacteria away from the opening to the bladder. Hope you feel better.

  3. The sooner you see your doctor, the better. <}:-})

  4. A week is way to long, by then it might have spread to your kidneys and then you have a problem.. does it hurt when you pee? If you start noticing blood when you pee then go to the doctor asap.

  5. Well the only thing I can tell you, is maybe call 911... It sounds to me like you have a kidney infection. Blood in your urine, and a fever... you need to get it checked out immediatly... cause if its not a kidney infection, it could lead to one.
