  1. No. It  is not breast cancer and you need not worry.  Firstly the Cancer will affect only one breast and not both. Secondly it will not feel like bone and only a moving lump will be seen. Then we have to see if it is cancerous.

However, I would like you to know the actual symptoms of Breast cancer to assess your self and then to show to a doctor for evaluation , if necessary by tests. The following are the symptoms of Breast cancer.

Knowing the signs and symptoms of breast cancer may help save your life. When the disease is discovered early, you have more treatment options and a better chance for a cure.

Most breast lumps aren't cancerous. Yet the most common sign of breast cancer for both men and women is a lump or thickening in the breast. Often, the lump is painless. Other potential signs of breast cancer include:

A spontaneous clear or bloody discharge from your nipple, often associated with a breast lump

Retraction or indentation of your nipple

A change in the size or contours of your breast

Any flattening or indentation of the skin over your breast

Redness or pitting of the skin over your breast, like the skin of an orange

A number of conditions other than breast cancer can cause your b*****s to change in size or feel. Breast tissue changes naturally during pregnancy and your menstrual cycle. Other possible causes of noncancerous (benign) breast changes include fibrocystic changes, cysts, fibroadenomas, infection or injury.

If you find a lump or other change in your breast — even if a recent mammogram was normal — see your doctor for evaluation. If you haven't yet gone through menopause, you may want to wait through one menstrual cycle before seeing your doctor. If the change hasn't gone away after a month, have it evaluated promptly.-

  2. Round bone?....like a pebble size lump? Could be a tumor. That is what I found two years ago. I went into the doctor and she did an ultrasound (like when you are pregnant but on your b*****s) to look at it. She said it looked like it was benign (not cancerous)

It felt like it had been getting bigger so my mom talked me into going back to the doctor to get it checked again. The ultra sound showed that it had tripled in size! The doctor said it had her worried and scheduled me for surgery the next day.

I was under for 1 hr came out fine. It turned out to be two tumors. One was benign the other was not yet malignant but would have become so it left in me. So I'm glad they are out! the surgery wasn't bad at all the scar will only be a little bigger than an inch long and its right around my aveolar, so no one but my husband would ever see it.

If you have any misgivings about what you are feeling I would see a doctor. Here is the website I found that confirmed my suspicions that the bony/pebble like bump was actually a small tumor. Hope this helps. Good luck.

  3. The way you describe it that does not sound like breast cancer.  And, it all depends on where you feel this round bone.  You have not told us that.  When I felt my tumor which was breast cancer, it was hard but it was around soft tissue.

My advice is to see your OB-GYN and have them check you.  I would recommend that you request a mammogram to assure it is just round bones.  In spite of me feeling it in 2007, the doctors did not believe me until 2008.  And...the tumor started to grow 2 to 3 years ago according to the pathologist.

Well, I guess that the people don't understand that I do have breast cancer right now.  And, yes, you can have it in both b*****s at the same time.  Don't know how you could say that could never happen.  Also, the fact that you have all of these symptoms.  They do not all appear like they do with a cold.

Like I said...go get the Mammogram.  That top contributor is wrong.  And, I don't care if you declare me as a best answer.  It has nothing to do with it.  My response has to purely do with the fact that I know what it is like to have breast cancer and anyone that is concerned should go for a checkup.  It is a matter between life and death...

  4. There are no bones in your b*****s, so the answer is no, you don't have breast cancer based upon your description. The closest bones are your clavicle, chest plate and ribcage. b*****s are made up of milk ducts and mostly fatty tissue.

You'd be wise to rule out anything untoward, however. A visit with an OB-GYN or family internist would do the trick.
