Question:

I think i have sleeping problems?

I think too much about things and cant sleep, so then i turn on the tv which stops me from sleeping even more.

And i feel lonely by myself in my room, so i turn on the lights which stop me from sleeping even more

it is 5:18 am right now and i need help, i dont want to take drugs to help me sleep, please help me.

  1. I understand your concerns completely. I changed careers several months back, and with that changed hours. It threw my system off (to say the least). It was light out when I tried to go to sleep, and with that I tried to MAKE myself get to bed by thinking about. It was a rough road for about 2 months. I refused to take drugs so I asked around. A friend of mine mentioned that he had similar complications so he looked for alternative methods. He didn't have money to go and seek out a professional, so he looked into companies that offered "self help." I think he said he looked at 3 or 4 (purchasing some of their advice) before coming across a world renowned company in the self development field. He lead me to a program system based on paraliminal technology. It worked for him, and it's seemingly worked for me (I'm getting to sleep with the sun beaming in and feeling great when I wake up). I tried the Deep Relaxation cd... maybe it could work for you? Cheaper and safer than nighttime meds I found. I'll put the link in the source.

  2. insomnia is caused by stress and depression and anxiety. racing thoughts  is a problem try taking a advil pm or soemthing of that sort, or ask ur doctor for a low dose anti anxiety. itll calm u down to sleep

  3. I have the same problem. My girlfriend is going to Las Vegas without me and with her friends on the weekend. I can't stop thinking about it. When she leaves the only way I think of helping myself go to sleep is drinking. Vodka is my friend :)

  5. I think you are in dipression . the best way to sort out this problem is meditation . do it reguraly and try to keep your mind cool"n"calm.avoid any tpye of medicine  . you can also read books before sleeping.
