  1. I broke my big toe, went to DOCs and paid $75 to be told:tape it to the toe next to it wear tight shoe and ice+elevate for 15 mins every hour or so for two days. Not even a skip for work!Your doing the right thing.Oh,it'll hurt for 4-7 days then start to feel better. Now 8 yrs later my toe aches before the weather changes, rain, cold that type of thing and my "toe"is always right LOL.Take it easy you'll be fine,J

  2. It is probable that you broke it. What you have done so far is the right thing. Keep it taped to the toe next to it and try to stay off of it as much as possible and keep it elevated and ice it in 15 minute intervals (make sure to use a thin cloth between the ice pack and your skin to avoid tissue damage). It will take anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks to heal normally. If you have to go somewhere that requires you to walk you may want to cut the toe part out of an old pair of sneakers and that way you won't put pressure on your pinkie toe. The doctor would do the same thing only he'd have it x-rayed, etc. and charge you an arm and a leg! LOL

There is nothing that can be done for a broken toe really except for what you have already done.

Good luck and I hope it heals quickly.

  3. You might have fractured it, or jammed it really bad, a jam can sometimes hurt worse than a break/fracture. The best thing to do is NOT go to the doctor, but to just stay off it, and within about a week you should be able to walk on it. If you go to the doctor, which seems to be out of the question for you anyway, he will tell you the same thing I just told you, but  will charge you money, a lot of it, unless you have good insurance.

  4. Even the doctor can't do much of anything about a broken toe.  Just keep ice on it and try to stay off of it as much as you can.  If it turns black and starts stinking or something, then you might want to see a doctor....

  5. uhm you should call someone to pick you up cuz that could be very serious and if you dont take proper care of it, it could be damaged for life. or call your doctor

    good luck
