I think i lost weight in muscle mass...why do my pants feel looser??????????

i went on a low carb diet for 2 weeks i belive, and i lost like 10 pounds. all my pants feel lighter and i THINK i see a difference in the mirror,

so when you do lose weight in muscle and not so much fat (maybe alittle bit) is it still possible to SEE that you've lost weight? as in do you actually apear slimmer even though its muscle that you have lost?

  1. You lost both muscle and fat.  That is why you appear thinner also.  Losing 10 pounds in 2 weeks you have to expect ALOT of muscle loss.  That is extremely drastic. Shoot for around 2 pounds a week.
