Do a virus scan and find out what you are infected with the go from there.  You may need professional help $$$  Hopefully u don't have one or not too much data is lost...good luck.

For starters be honest with your mom, then ask a computer geek to help you figure out if you did or didn't Your computer has tools to check it. Hey any one can get a virus but to be careful know the sites you visit and the emails you open. I hope this helps.

If you have antivirus software which you should, then you should run it now.  Otherwise you can download AVG for free, then run it so it can find the virus and remove it.

go to super anti spy wear .com it's free I had a bunch of Trojans on my comp. and I got that along with macafee

just recover the system by scanning everything. and running a recovery scan it cleans the whoole computer, my brother just did this about 3 days ago. good luck!

download Avast! antivirus it is free and do a virus scan on your computer. It should find it and you can kill it. That's what I use.

Try using Trend-Micro Home Call.. Its free.

AVG hardly finds anything if it is already in your computer.  AS soon as it arrives it has a better chance or detecting.

Go to download.com and load Spybot, adaware, and avast...all free.  Run them and they should get rid of anything you've got.

i had the same problem

i took it to a repair shop and let them deal with it

cost me 95 bucks!

installing a spyware program won't do anything since the virus proably won't let u install it. thats what i tried to do

but to no avail

if you dont allready have a Anti-virus [if you do have one it should be in the bottom right corner in the control bar]if you dont have one...Download a free antivirus on the antivirus program there should be a scan button, do a scan if there is a virus it will show up, there should be a button that says fix now, and it should also tell you how at risk your computer is to the virus

You could easily use Norton Anti Virus, or you can buy some really good anti-virus programs such as AVG. I had trojan horse but i easily got rid of it with AVG.

Or you could regenerate your entire computer again unless you don't want your mum to find out.
