I think i should get some sort of voice recorder?

i think i should get some sort of voice recorder for school, to record in class lectures...as a back up for my notes. what is the best product to consider for this situation?

You can buy Creative MUVO 1GB MP3 Player Voice Recorder . If 1 GB is less you can go for more then 1GB. You can also go in for Sony Digital or analog Voice recorder.

There's some really neat digital voice recorders available these days. Many of them have features such as the ability to record several hours worth of audio; folder organization and voice activation. Some of them can also be connected to a computer so you can transfer the audio there, or in some cases even use software to "transcribe" the audio into text!

I personally like Olympus voice recorders, however I have also used Sony and Panasonic equipment too. I would recommend using a decent set of headphones with one since the small speakers in them are difficult to hear clearly from.

As wx_rider has explained Olympus & Philips Digital Voice Recorder are currently the best in the market, and for school studies, class notes etc.. i would definitely suggest the Olympus DS line , ds-30, ds-40, ds-50, ds-4000 and ds-5000, depending on your price preferences.
