a fox is not a pet.  maybe you should try and use your brain a little more.  get a hamster.

Wild animals should never be kept as pets ... foxes do not act the same as regular dogs. They may be aggressive because they are not in their natural habitat. My advice is to just get a regular dog, better yet adopt one!

Rethink, please.  If you want a fox just because they look cool, you should find a dog you like instead.  If you want one because you like the way they behave, remember that it won't act that way once it's a pet.  Keeping a fox healthy is more involved and more expensive than doing so with a dog.  Also, some places prohibit their ownership.  You won't be able to let it run free, and I don't think that's any fun for any pet.  You should also see if it could get rabies vaccinations in your town.

I don't know about silver foxes, but I know someone who breeds Fennec Foxes for pets. They are cute, but they are not easy to take care of, and are quite expensive. Also, many vets will not treat exotic animals, or have limited knowledge. An exotic pet such as a fox would be a very big and expensive decision to make. You would be much better off with a small dog or a cat, in my opinion. But if you must have an exotic animal, try a smaller mammal that lives in a cage, such as a chinchilla, a hedgehog, or a sugar glider. Still though, a pet is not something to get just because it's "cool".
