  1. OMG U R FUNNY I SWITCH ALL THE TIME A LITTLE WHITE LIE WONT HURT EAT IT EAT IT EAT IT

  2. A vegan diet is not healthy for a baby.  You need protein from dairy or fish, poultry or meat.  You could also use the Omega3 in fish.  Steer clear of farmed fish and don't eat tuna more than once a week.

  3. I was a vegetarian during I am glad I craved a lot of different things. You need some protein. The doctor told me the baby would have a low birth weight she came out weighing 7lbs 11 ounces. Good for you!!

  4. Something I read during my short lived last pregnancy, was that if you are craving something whether it be meat or dairy during pregnancy, think about the whole picture of what exactly you are craving. If this is your first pregnancy, is it that you are remembering childhood and the grilled cheeses your mom made and the feeling it gave you? My situation was that I was wanting a specific spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy's. Yeah the spiciness was scrumptious, but when I looked at the whole image in my head, it was a picture of me eating it before our second child, before our lives got even more hectic and the fear of throwing a third child into the mix. I was basically dreaming of the easier days and craving them more than the sandwich! But in the end if you do choose to switch don't beat yourself up over it.

  5. My friend wasn't pregnant. But one night she said "I need a slice of pizza" and she ate one. She had been a strict vegan for years and gave in one moment to the deliciousness that is cheese. She hasn't faltered ever since. She doesn't feel terrible. There are more "evil" things you can do than eat cheese.

  6. You should give into cravings when pregnant- cravings are there for a reason, although I craved Pecan Sandies and McDonalds chicken nuggets ( shudder) I think your body and the baby tells you what you need. Grilled Cheese, and some tomato soup sounds lovely!

  7. use vegan cheese!!! veganism is so healthy! if you do choose to go back durring the pregnancy, dont feel terrible. if you do, get free range eggs and dairy. not completly cruelty free, but a lot better than the kind from factory farms. there really are a lot of vegan substitutes out there that you might want to look into. good luck with your baby!!! : )

  8. there is soy and rice based cheese slices you can use in place of dairy

  9. Well, an option might be to purchase vegan cheese slices -- I don't know if they have that same melty-cheese factor, but at least you can get the same taste

Use: Vegan butter, Wholegrain vegan bread, vegan cheese slices...

    Hope this helps!

  10. LOL Do like Phoebe on Friends and get someone else to be a vegan for you. =P

Seriously though, try to stick it out if you can.
