You need to wait, the tests even say if you are unsure of ovulation or have irregular cycles not to test until 19 days after having s*x.  If you have regular cycles you should wait until your period is due to test.  Testing to early will just give a negative then you have to wonder if it was right or not so then you end up testing again anyways.  The earliest I have ever even got a faint positive was at 14 dpo the day my period was due.
