Question:

I think it's time to upgrade to a new wakeboard?

I've been wakeboarding for a few years now, and I've only had one board so far. It's a hydroslide with chaser bindings. I love that board, but it just doesn't give me the pop I want. I want a board with a HUGE amount of pop, but I'd still like it to feel at least a little solid in the water. I'm not too worried about the speed of the board, just the amount of pop. One person already suggested the Liquid Force Omega. So what board should I get? please be brand/name specific if you can. Don't worry about bindings, I like the ones I have. Thanks in advance

  1. Hyperlite Parks is a slower board, but has a lot of pop it has a 3-stage rocker.

Liquid Force Shane/Subjekt and Liquid Force Watson are other boards with decent pop, but are faster than the Parks.

CWB Marius and CWB Transcend also have decent pop and are faster than the Parks.

But if you are looking for the most pop the Parks is your best bet.  You can pick up an older one on ebay for under $200

easily same with the Subjekt.  The other boards are going to be more expensive because they are newer models, but you can find year old boards for fairly cheap.  One website that I have found that has good pricing is www.boardersmall.com.

Also you can go to www.wakeworld.com and checkout their board guide to see other opinions on the boards.
