  1. yes do see a doctor. but it sounds like he is taking in more acid in his diet. Oranges and juices... maybe a small change to include pedialyte in place of juices. do not recommend oranges walnuts or bananas if he might have acid reflux. When mine acts up I sometimes must go to a bland diet for a few days and let my system rest

  2. i have acid reflux. it sucks. i can't drink anything with citrus. You should report to Doctor if it gets bad.

  3. Yes, he can have a tums. The best thing to do is make an apointment with the pediatrician and relate your concerns. They can give you a prescription for omiprazol which is Priolosec. Its safe for kids and works like a miracle.

  4. If you see this when he is eating oranges than it very well could be the acid in the orange!  I also have a 2 year old and when I give her juice I give her 1/2 water 1/2 juice.  This may work for your little one! As far as the tums I would stay away from drugs if you can.

  5. It may not be acid reflux - I have a hard time with oranges and have no acid reflux. They upset my stomach and if i dare to have milk anytime soon after - I will vomit.
