Question:

I think my 5 year old son is evil?

Hey, i really need help here. The other day I caught my 5 year old son, Ted, microwaving our pregnant cat Luma. It was already to late, as he already had her in there for 6 minutes. I had to lie to my wife and say that the cat must've ran away. I had to clean up the mess and bury the cat in the backyard. I feel bad for covering up for our son, but I am afraid that my wife might put our son in a mental institution if she was to find out the truth.

When I asked my son about it, he said he don't know why he did it. The worst part was when I caught him, he covered himself in some of the cat blood. Should I tell my wife? And if so, do you think institutionalizing him would be the best choice?

  1. Yes hon, you should tell your wife, how would you feel if she kept something of such importance from you? I think it is obvious there is something going on this is certainly not normal by any stretch of the imagination. Please tell her and GET HIM HELP! this could be you the next time that he is hurting. Good Luck!

  2. Oh My Gosh.

sry to hear about ur cat

i hate to hear about animal abuse :(

  5. Institutionalizing is not the answer...and are you kidding evil?  He is five years old, he is curious. You can do yourself a favor and explain to him the right things and wrong things in life. Have your son tell your wife what he had done because it's the right thing to do.

  6. oh man... maybe he should go to a mental institution if something like that happens again.

  7. your son needs serious help.  big time help.  take him to a psychologist.

  8. Sorry but I do not believe you for a minute ; something in your story doesn't add up

  9. Your son needs psychological help, possibly medication as soon as possible. Please do not cover for situations like this.  Your son needs you and your wife, as a team, to do everything in your power to help him.  You will need each other. Never ever give up, always believe in him and fight for him and get him help.  A trained educated professional will be able to tell you if your son needs a group home, institution or medication and counseling.  I am very sorry this happened and know how it feels to have a child act in unbelievable ways. Make sure that you take care of yourselves and find a support network- it makes a major difference.  I wish you courage, faith and hope

  10. well i think you are lying to us but if not your child needs some help real fast and covering up for him isn't going to help.He could be the next serial killer but like I said I think you are lying

  11. You need to whoop his butt and explain to him what the cat went through before it died. Then if this persists, get a HOLY GHOST filled preacher to your house to cast those demons out of him.

  12. Your son needs help now it seems like he is crying out for help.  And yes you should tell your wife.

  13. When I read this I wanted to puke. If this is not real then you are a sick person. And if this is real then your son needs help. Reguardless if they have to put him in an institute. He could be dangerous to other people when he gets older.

    I'm bout to puke......

  14. omg! that is terrible! the poor cat! and you! im really sorry. first, i think that you really should tell your wife, if you are covering up for him, and he doesnt get put in an institution, think about what will happen later in life. so i think you should tell you wife, and you guys should just talk about what you want do. first of all, tell her why you lied, and second of all, in your discussion, bring up the fact that he is only 5, so this could be just a phase or something, But if he continues to do things like this wit no explanation, i really think he should get counseling.  A mental institution should be your last resort. Try therapy first.

  15. That's definitely Evil, as you said it!

Your son really needs some dicipline in life.  I'm not sure if he's a mental basketcase or not, but the parenthood he's getting is surely lacking something.... Oh yeah, it all boils doing to parenthood - that's what's wrong with America today - parents not taking enough initiative.

If it were me, first thing would have been a series of questions in a scolding manner, then a series of slaps, and then punishment, and mom needs to know.  However, if a kid is going this far it tells me he's not normal to begin with.  He is lacking manners, respect, and the family values he SHOULD have.  .... Again, boils to parenthood.

My worse imagination is - he could do this to humans some day.  Even as an adult, I can't see the sight of blood.  And if at his age, he's comfortable with having cat blood all over him, and killing a cat... imagine where he's going - mentally - A Human Killer (someday).  So, whatever it it.. Take ACTION NOW!

  16. DEVIL CHILD.

  17. OH MY GOODNESS!

your son needs help! punish him, tell your wife, and get him counselling!

  18. Y'know - with the Bejing olympics, dog and cat was taken off menus forcefully by the Chinese guv'ment.

You would've had an excellent opportunity to have tried a dish that is foreign and exotic.

It is a shame about the family pet and that fact she was pregnant; however, the deed was done and you should've moved past that.

If this happens again in the future, feel free to contact me for some recipes and remember; waste not, want not!

  19. omg you N E E D to get him evaluated or something. That is so crazy.

i feel really sad, i love cats.
