  1. Don't worry.  Your baby isn't spoiled. Babies need a lot of love, affection and attention-hugs and cuddles, being talked to and rocked.  And you're doing all of that.  You can't spoil a 6-week old.  Giving your baby all the love he needs will actually help him separate and become his own person in the future.

My only other suggestion is that if your baby is happy or sleeping comfortably, it's not a bad idea to give him a bit of time on his own.  You won't spoil him by holding him, but if he's happy to be without that physical contact for short periods of time, that's good, too and it certainly makes things a little easier for you.

But please don't worry about spoiling him at this point.  I'm sure you're doing just what you need to-responding to his needs!

    God bless you!

  2. It is impossible for a 6 week old baby to be spoiled.  Hold and love him or her as much as you can.

  3. Your baby isn't spoiled, they just have a lot of needs and are still use to being inside of you where everything is there for them.  Your baby just needs you.  Once they start getting bigger though, they will cry and then look at you and see if you are responding then cry more if you arn't or cry when they dont get something!  Don't worry about it, your baby is not spoiled at all, just loved!

  4. I don't think a first child can ever be to spoiled... he is your little man and you treat him how you think is best!!! If that means your spoiling your child with love, gifts, attention in any way that's up to you...

I cant wait to have my baby to spoil!!!

Do how you please honestly and hes your baby no one elses...who care what anyone else thinks!!!

  9. i think you really spoiled you baby by telling she wants your hug whenever you put her down to sleep.or she stops crying whenever you begun to hold her.but if this what you called spoiling the baby i would rather spoil her than never hold her right? dont mind those peole who are mean to you, they are sarcastic and they dont even read your question.good luck and congrats ! just enjoy your little angel.shes so precious!

  10. how dare you. a baby can never be spoiled.. never think that. the baby didn't ask to be born.  its just being a baby. treat your baby right and always make sure it has a smile on its face.

  11. i have a baby around the same age and i was concerned about this. i asked my son's dr and he said that baby's that age cant be spoiled yet. Fulfilling their demands as quickly as possible will not spoil them but instead reassure them that someone is there for them and that will aid their development later on

  12. When they act as if they expect you to let them use the car. ;-)

  13. It's a baby... It doesn't have the ability to be spoiled yet. It only wants what it needs i.e. food, diaper change, attention. It's only 45 days old...

  14. if you are allways holding the baby and the baby sleeps with you etc. this will spoil the child into not wanting to be away from you and needing you to fall asleep.
