I think my Bearded Dragon is fat?

Question

okay, he eats great and stuff but when he stands up his belly touches the ground. and when he lays down hes very hard to pick up because hes so round.

the things you might want to know:

he is about 8 months

his diet contains pellets, crickets, veggies, and greens.

he is a little active but mostly active early in the morning.

just cut down on the food you give him and help him exercise

So when he is most active take him out of the tank and let him run around the room or on a bed. You might want to cut down on the quantitiy to feed him at once. The activity and small cuts in food amounts should help him regain a healthy weight.

He doesn't sound bad but it has to do with the quanity of what he is eating not as much as what.

Spray him more and you will find he will become more active. I give mine a shower every few days or so for about 15 mintues and he loves it!
